3rd Annual
Saskatchewan Trails Day

The third annual Saskatchewan Trails Day is happening across the province on Saturday, June 5, 2010, with extra events being held on the following Sunday. Join us as we celebrate our trails by taking part in the events below or by holding a Trails Day event in your community.

Community Events


Sunday, June 6

  • Bush Walk and Picnic along the Trails
  • Chico Hills Farm — native prairie; uncultivated quarter of gentle rolling terrain
  • #12 Highway, 12 miles south of Shell Lake or 25 miles north of Blaine Lake
  • Starts at 11:30 a.m.

18 km trail system of winding, connecting trails. Trails loaded with lush plant life. 1920s homestead yard site; chapel on the hillside; goats, sheep, thus all dogs stay home.
